UK Top 50 law firm Birketts has strengthened its real estate practice with the appointment of Partner Edward Auger and Legal Director David Roberts this month.
Edward Auger is the first Partner appointment in the firm’s Sevenoaks-based South East commercial real estate team. With experience across a wide range of real estate matters, Ed brings specialisms in secured lending and residential and commercial development across his 20+ years of practicing. He also has considerable experience in landlord and tenant matters, as well as acting for investors and their property portfolios.
David Roberts joins Birketts’ residential development team in Cambridge as a Legal Director. Taking on the role of Head of Living Assets, David has almost 30 years’ experience advising developer clients with particular focus in the build to rent sector on funding and development work.

The appointments of Ed and David follow Birketts’ appointment of Sara Kemp as Legal Director in its Bristol commercial real estate team in April, further enhancing the firm’s expertise in the South West.
