Kent law firm Brachers is proud to announce the launch of the Brachers Building at the Kent County Showground in Detling, following a new five-year partnership with the Kent County Agricultural Society (KCAS). Formerly known as the Maidstone Exhibition Hall, the venue has now been renamed the Brachers Building.

The Kent Showground is one of Kent’s most iconic venues, welcoming over 80,000 visitors annually. Home to the Kent Event Centre since 1991, the site has grown into a modern hub for exhibitions and conferences. All profits from the Kent Event Centre support KCAS, a registered charity founded in 1923 to promote agriculture, forestry, horticulture, rural crafts, and livestock breeding across Kent.

This partnership places Brachers’ name at the heart of the county’s agricultural community and reflects the firm’s commitment to supporting local businesses and rural industries.

Joanna Worby, Managing Partner at Brachers, commented:

The launch of the Brachers Building is a proud moment for us. This partnership with KCAS is an important step in strengthening our presence in Kent and reinforcing the values that sit at the heart of our firm. We are proud to see our name aligned with such a well-known venue and look forward to making the most of the opportunities this partnership brings.

Sarah Gaines, Joint Head of Agriculture at Brachers, added:

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of Brachers and KCAS to supporting local businesses and Kent’s rural community. The Brachers Building symbolises our joint vision and how we can work together to champion agriculture and the wider community for years to come.
