Embridge Consulting Paints The Future For Shears Green Junior School

Award-winning digital transformation consultancy, Embridge Consulting, has provided much-needed support for local Junior School, Shears Green, after its volunteering team, #EmbridgeGiving, has refurbished its hall space.

Headquartered in Gravesham, Kent, the business transformation consultancy prides itself on putting people at the heart of digital change. It has built a solid reputation for delivering scalable, future-proof solutions across the public, private, non-profit, and education sectors, likewise empowering people through its community involvement.

Based in Northfleet, Gravesend (Kent), Shears Green Junior School serves around five hundred pupils aged 7-11, under the values of kindness, curiosity, courage, and honesty. The school is committed to ensuring each child has the opportunity to become the very best version of themselves – nurturing aspirations and interests in a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Like many busy schools, Shears Green relies on shared spaces like the hall for assemblies, performances, and daily activities. Wear and tear had dulled its communal areas over time, making them less inviting.

The Embridge Giving team – comprised of volunteers from different departments – came together to repaint the area. Armed with rollers, brushes, and shared commitment, they transformed the space into a brighter, more welcoming hub for students and staff alike.

In addition to reinforcing Shears Green’s pride in its school community, the act reinforced the shared purpose that runs throughout Embridge Consulting, which gives all employees two annual volunteer days.

This latest project is just one example of the company’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility. Its recent success as Best Professional Services Consultancy at the 2025 Gravesham Business Awards affirms that excellence in business goes hand in hand with investing in community.

Giving back to our community is at the heart of who we are”, says Emma O’Brien, Founder and CEO of Embridge Consulting. “Seeing our team come together to improve a space where children learn and grow reminds us why we support causes like this. We’re proud to contribute and are already looking forward to our next volunteering day.
