Kent-based business transformation consultancy, Embridge Consulting, is celebrating back-to-back recognition by the Gravesham Business Awards, having been shortlisted as a 2026 finalist just one year after winning Best Professional Consultancy 2025.
Founded in Gravesham in 2009, Embridge Consulting helps organisations deliver technology-enabled business transformation that adapts, sticks and scales. Guided by its Elastic Change® approach, Embridge combines emotionally intelligent leadership, excellence in technology and expandable services to deliver change that works in the real world—supporting people while enabling organisations to evolve without losing momentum.
Today, more than 70 Embridge experts support over 350 organisations across local government, healthcare, higher education, not-for-profit, and private business, the company has built a national presence while remaining firmly committed to its local area.
Launched in 2018, the Gravesham Business Awards recognise the diversity, innovation, and resilience of businesses across the borough. The annual awards celebrate organisations of all sizes from across sectors, provided they are creating local opportunities, driving economic progress, and making a positive contribution to the wider community.
Embridge’s latest recognition as a finalist for the professional consultancy award follows yet another year of growth and achievement, with founder and CEO, Emma O’Brien also shortlisted for the People’s Choice Award.
In 2026, Embridge became Unit4’s exclusive UK reseller and formalised its Elastic Change® approach in response to the changing needs of organisations and their people.
The business has also invested significantly in its leadership, its Kent-based team and technology infrastructure, increasing its capacity and efficiency in supporting clients.
The Embridge Giving programme has also allowed staff members to volunteer their time and support to local schools and community projects, while raising thousands for charitable causes. This includes Leo’s Angels – the tech-led social enterprise created by Embridge founder and CEO, Emma O’Brien, to improve epilepsy care and awareness following the loss of her son to the disease.
Emma O’Brien, Founder and CEO of Embridge Consulting, said: “Embridge has always existed to make a positive difference, whether that’s leveraging technology to help build stronger organisations or supporting members of our local community.
“Being recognised by the Gravesham Business Awards for a second consecutive year means the world to us, particularly because Gravesham is where our journey began and continues to be our head office. This is a proud moment for everyone at Embridge and a wonderful reflection of what our people contribute, both in the workplace and beyond it.”
Winners of the 2026 Gravesham Business Awards will be announced at a gala ceremony in Gravesend on 6th November 2026.
