With a dedicated focus in the South of England a key part of Lovett Care’s strategy for the next few years, the care home operator has made two senior appointments in the region.
With its first luxury 78-bed care home due to open in July in Kings Hill, Kent, Lovett Care has appointed Anna Ramos as Regional Manager, and Claire Skinner, from Herne Bay, as Registered Home Manager.
Anna is tasked with building strong, high performing teams across the South, ensuring each care home in the region is able to consistently deliver outstanding care. She will work hard to embed each care home manager with the Lovett core values and encourage strengthened leadership capability as well as positive and engaged cultures where all staff feel empowered and supported.
Anna’s focus will remain on quality, occupancy and community engagement, ensuring all homes are well-led, compliant and recognised locally for the high standard of care they provide.
In the long term, Anna hopes to play a key role in supporting Lovett Care's continued growth across the South, whilst ensuring high quality, compassion and values remain at the heart.
Anna says: “I was attracted to Lovett Care because of its people. From my first conversation, it was evident that the company was value-led and committed to genuinely putting the residents first. There is a warmth and passion to Lovett Care, and a dedicated approach to high quality care, not just for residents but for staff too.

With the opening of Kings Hill Care Home, which will offer residential, nursing, dementia and respite care services, fast approaching, Claire brings with her over 20 years of experience in managing care homes and supporting both residents and teams to thrive.
Claire is committed to the successful opening of Kings Hill Care Home and is already working hard to create a warm and welcoming environment. She will ensure the home is full and thriving in the coming months, with the ultimate goal of it becoming the best care home in Kent.
One of her key objectives is to develop strong connections within the local community. She is also passionate about nurturing relationships with the residents and their families, including young people who visit, so everyone feels part of the home.
Claire adds: “I want Kings Hill Care Home to be a place where residents are celebrated, and staff feel truly valued and fully supported. What attracted me to Lovett Care is its strong sense of family and its genuine core values that run throughout the business, within all care homes and at the Support Office.
“I have been a registered home manager for the last 20 years and absolutely love what I do, with the delivery of exceptional care always my priority. It is wonderful to be involved with Kings Hill Care Home from the very start, and I am looking forward to opening in June, welcoming our first residents.”

Away from work, Anna likes to run, walk and exercises regularly. She loves travelling, watching and reading documentaries, as well as spending time with her husband and family. Claire enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and her dog, Dennis. She loves dining out and making the most of her time away with holidays and trips to new places.
