Redmayne Bentley is celebrating 35 years of helping clients and their families across Kent.

The investment management, financial planning and stockbroking firm, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2025, opened its first Kent office on 16 September 1991. Originally six stockbrokers were based in Chislehurst High Street, before moving to Locksbottom and subsequently Petts Wood.

Stuart Davis, who was one of the six founding stockbrokers and is now Chief Executive of the UK-wide business said: "It's a fantastic achievement to reach our 35th anniversary in Kent.

"When I look back on all we have achieved, I'm immensely proud of how our presence in Kent has evolved.

"I am also personally grateful for the journey that has taken me from that first small branch to now leading the firm as Chief Executive. Thank you to the generations of clients who have trusted us with their financial journeys, and to colleagues, past and present, for their dedication and support."

Redmayne Bentley now operates from more than 25 offices across the UK. The Kent branch, founded by Stuart Davis and five colleagues in 1991, remains an important part of the firm's nationwide network.

While technology, investment tools and regulation have transformed dramatically over the past three-and-a-half decades, the firm's commitment to delivering a personal service has remained unchanged during the firm’s 150-year history. Today, the Kent team has grown to 25 professionals and serves as a key hub in a business employing more than 400 colleagues nationwide.
