Select Technology, an award-winning managed IT provider and official Microsoft Partner based in Kent, launches an exciting new AI and automation support programme dedicated to the needs and aspirations of small and medium sized businesses across the South East.
Research by the British Chambers of Commerce last autumn revealed over a third of SMEs (35%) are now actively using AI technology, up from 25% in 2024. Select’s new AI Accelerator programme is focused on keeping up the momentum by helping more businesses across the region to seize the opportunities that AI and automation can bring.
Nick Potter, Managing Director at Select Technology, said: “We want to help more businesses to not only understand the difference and impact AI and automation can make, but to help get them started quickly and securely.
“AI and automation are no longer a nice to have. This technology is here to stay. SMEs across the South East are increasingly seeing the potential but there’s still too many businesses either lacking the confidence to take even the first step or not being able to realise the productivity gains.
“That’s where The AI Accelerator programme comes in, offering practical steps and real-world advice to SMEs located in the nation’s economic engine room, helping them to boost productivity, drive efficiency and transform business performance.”
“We will help businesses to deliver a three-year AI roadmap aligned to their business goals, a workflow improvement plan prioritised by impact, a clear AI operating model for day-to-day use, and a measurement report that will show the difference any changes have made. Capturing team input will be a key part of this.”
The launch of the AI Accelerator programme coincided with the Kent AI Conference which took place on 24 June at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel in association with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce. Select Technology is this year’s headline sponsor.
