Kent-based training and cultural transformation firm Inspiring Cultures Ltd (ICL) has released their debut book through Kindle Direct Publishing. Titled ‘Before It Boils’, the book is aimed at HR managers, leaders, small business owners, and anyone who is interested in preventing conflict in the workplace.
ICL is owned by entrepreneur Stephen Adams, who started the company in 2022 to provide exceptional quality training and coaching services to medium to larger sized businesses. Stephen said:
“This book has been a real labour of love for us, particularly for Jenni Miller, our Head of Cultural Transformation, who wrote most of it. I am so proud of the whole team for the work they have done to get the book out into the world. It was written to help individuals, leaders, and teams to better understand the early signs of tension, and more importantly, what to do about them.”

The organisation also announced a partnership with Head In The Game (HITG), a mental health charity dedicated to improving mental fitness through the transformative power of sport. ICL will partner with HITG to make regular financial donations throughout 2026, as well as offers of support to participants.
“I’m also delighted about our partnership with Head In The Game,” said Stephen. “It is a charity that we can really get behind with financial and practical support, and the fact they are local to me means I can see where our money is being spent. We look forward to a long and happy relationship with them.”
Jo Skelton, Corporate Partnerships Manager for Head In The Game, said, “We are thrilled to be working with ICL as we have such shared values with them as an organisation. I believe this will be a brilliant and mutually beneficial partnership, which has already started with a substantial donation from Stephen and the team. We look forward to seeing how the relationship develops over time.”
It is no coincidence that the book release and the charity partnership both fall in April, which is Stress Awareness Month. Stress can play a big part in both workplace conflict and mental health issues, so it made perfect sense for the two things to coincide.
