➡ Sharon Davey-Holpin Joins Stantons Solicitors as Family Solicitor
Stantons Solicitors has appointed Sharon Davey-Holpin as a Family Solicitor, joining the firm on 26 January 2026. With over 25 years of experience in family law and dispute resolution, Sharon is known for her calm, pragmatic, and compassionate approach to complex family matters.
Qualified as both a solicitor and mediator, she helps clients resolve disputes constructively and avoid unnecessary court proceedings. Her arrival strengthens Stantons’ growing family department and aligns with its focus on clear, client-centred solutions.
The firm says Sharon’s expertise will be a major asset as demand rises for non-court resolution in family cases.
➡ Maidstone Based MHA To Acquire Moore Stephens Firms In The UAE
MHA Plc is set to acquire Moore Stephens LLC and Moore Stephens Consulting LLC, two established Dubai-based firms known collectively as MS UAE. The deal marks another step in MHA’s plan to expand internationally through targeted cross-border acquisitions. Founded in 1999, MS UAE has 95 staff, three partners, and projected 2025 revenues of £6.5m.
The group provides audit, tax, and advisory services across sectors from finance to construction. MHA will pay £7.4m for the acquisition, which is expected to boost earnings in its first full year. Both firms will rebrand to MHA once the deal completes.
